A6-5357M vs Core m3-6Y30 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-5357M is faster than the Core m3-6Y30. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core m3-6Y30 in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Core m3-6Y30 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A6-5357M has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core m3-6Y30. Also, the A6-5357M has a significantly higher turbo speed. The Core m3-6Y30 outputs less heat than A6-5357M thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the A6-5357M has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core m3-6Y30
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-5357M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
