A6-5357M vs Celeron J1900 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Celeron J1900 performs better than the A6-5357M. Despite this, the A6-5357M has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Celeron J1900 has significantly more cores than the A6-5357M. Indeed, the Celeron J1900 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the A6-5357M. It also has more threads than the A6-5357M. With our hardware info, we find that the A6-5357M has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron J1900. The Celeron J1900 outputs less heat than A6-5357M thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A6-5357M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
