A6-5357M vs A8-6410 comparison

In our benchmarks, the A6-5357M beats the A8-6410 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-6410 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the A8-6410 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A6-5357M has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-5357M. With our hardware info, we find that the A6-5357M has a significantly higher clock speed than the A8-6410. Also, the A6-5357M has a significantly higher turbo speed. The A8-6410 outputs less heat than A6-5357M thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the A8-6410 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the A6-5357M

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-5357M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
