A6-5357M vs A6-9220 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-9220 is faster than the A6-5357M. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A6-5357M in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A6-5357M has a slightly higher clock speed than the A6-9220. The A6-9220 outputs less heat than A6-5357M thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-5357M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
