A6-5350M vs Pentium N4200 benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium N4200 is faster than the A6-5350M. Despite this, the A6-5350M has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Pentium N4200 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A6-5350M has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-5350M. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A6-5350M has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium N4200. The Pentium N4200 outputs less heat than A6-5350M thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-5350M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
