A6-5350M vs Celeron N5105 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Celeron N5105 beats the A6-5350M in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A6-5350M in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Celeron N5105 has significantly more cores than the A6-5350M. Indeed, the Celeron N5105 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the A6-5350M. It also has more threads than the A6-5350M. With our hardware info, we find that the A6-5350M has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron N5105. The Celeron N5105 outputs less heat than A6-5350M thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-5350M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
