A6-5350M vs Celeron N3450 comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A6-5350M performs better than the Celeron N3450. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N3450 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Celeron N3450 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the A6-5350M that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-5350M. Our comparison shows that the A6-5350M has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N3450. The Celeron N3450 outputs less heat than A6-5350M thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A6-5350M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
