A6-5200 vs Pentium 2020M specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Pentium 2020M performs better than the A6-5200. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A6-5200 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the A6-5200 has significantly more cores than the Pentium 2020M. Indeed, the A6-5200 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Pentium 2020M. It also has more threads than the Pentium 2020M. Our comparison shows that the Pentium 2020M has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A6-5200. A A6-5200 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium 2020M CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A6-5200 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
