A6-5200 vs Core i5 M 430 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5 M 430 is faster than the A6-5200. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A6-5200 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the A6-5200 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core i5 M 430 has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5 M 430 has a slightly higher clock speed than the A6-5200. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A6-5200 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i5 M 430
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A6-5200 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
