A6-5200 vs Celeron N4500 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-5200 is faster than the Celeron N4500. Despite this, the Celeron N4500 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the A6-5200 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Celeron N4500 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron N4500. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A6-5200 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4500. The Celeron N4500 outputs less heat than A6-5200 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-5200 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
