A6-5200 vs Celeron G550 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Celeron G550 performs better than the A6-5200. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A6-5200 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the A6-5200 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Celeron G550 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron G550. With our hardware info, we find that the Celeron G550 has a slightly higher clock speed than the A6-5200. A A6-5200 CPU outputs less heat than a Celeron G550 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the A6-5200 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Celeron G550
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the A6-5200 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
