A6-5200 vs A9-9425 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-5200 is faster than the A9-9425. Despite this, the A9-9425 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the A6-5200 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A9-9425 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A9-9425. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A9-9425 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the A6-5200. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A6-5200 has significantly more L2 cache than the A9-9425

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A6-5200 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
