A6-3650 vs Pentium G4400 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-3650 is faster than the Pentium G4400. Despite this, the Pentium G4400 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the A6-3650 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Pentium G4400 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G4400. The Pentium G4400 outputs less heat than A6-3650 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-3650 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
