A6-3620 vs Pentium 4415U benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-3620 is faster than the Pentium 4415U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium 4415U in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the A6-3620 has significantly more cores than the Pentium 4415U. Indeed, the A6-3620 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Pentium 4415U. But they both have the same number of threads. The Pentium 4415U outputs less heat than A6-3620 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-3620 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
