A6-3620 vs 3020e benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the A6-3620 beats the 3020e in overall performance. Despite this, the 3020e has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the A6-3620 has significantly more cores than the 3020e. Indeed, the A6-3620 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the 3020e. It also has more threads than the 3020e. The 3020e outputs less heat than A6-3620 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-3620 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
