A4-9125 vs Athlon II X4 651 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Athlon II X4 651 is faster than the A4-9125. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A4-9125 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Athlon II X4 651 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A4-9125 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A4-9125. Our comparison shows that the Athlon II X4 651 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A4-9125. In terms of cache, the Athlon II X4 651 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the A4-9125
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A4-9125 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
