A10-9600P vs Ryzen 5 4500 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 4500 beats the A10-9600P in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-9600P in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Ryzen 5 4500 has significantly more cores than the A10-9600P. Indeed, the Ryzen 5 4500 has 6 cores compared to 4 cores found in the A10-9600P. It also has more threads than the A10-9600P. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 4500 has a significantly higher clock speed than the A10-9600P. Also, the Ryzen 5 4500 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A A10-9600P CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen 5 4500 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 5 4500 has more L2 cache than the A10-9600P
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-9600P has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
