A10-9600P vs Pentium G3250 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium G3250 is faster than the A10-9600P. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-9600P in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the A10-9600P has significantly more cores than the Pentium G3250. Indeed, the A10-9600P has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Pentium G3250. It also has more threads than the Pentium G3250. With our hardware info, we find that the Pentium G3250 has a slightly higher clock speed than the A10-9600P. A A10-9600P CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G3250 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-9600P has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
