A10-9600P vs Pentium G3220 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A10-9600P performs better than the Pentium G3220. Despite this, the Pentium G3220 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the A10-9600P has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G3220 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G3220. Our comparison shows that the Pentium G3220 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A10-9600P. A A10-9600P CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G3220 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A10-9600P has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
