A10-9600P vs Core i5-3230M specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-3230M is faster than the A10-9600P. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-9600P in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the A10-9600P has significantly more cores than the Core i5-3230M. Indeed, the A10-9600P has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Core i5-3230M. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-3230M has a slightly higher clock speed than the A10-9600P. A A10-9600P CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-3230M CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
