A10-7800 vs Core i7-1065G7 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i7-1065G7 beats the A10-7800 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7800 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-1065G7 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A10-7800 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A10-7800. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A10-7800 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-1065G7. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed. The Core i7-1065G7 outputs less heat than A10-7800 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the A10-7800 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-1065G7
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the A10-7800 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
