A10-7800 vs A8-7600 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A8-7600 performs better than the A10-7800. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7800 in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A10-7800 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A8-7600. Also, the A10-7800 has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the A10-7800 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
