A10-7300 vs Pentium 3825U specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium 3825U is faster than the A10-7300. Despite this, the A10-7300 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the A10-7300 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium 3825U has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Both the A10-7300 and Pentium 3825U have the same clock speed. The Pentium 3825U outputs less heat than A10-7300 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the A10-7300 has more L2 cache than the Pentium 3825U

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A10-7300 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
