A10-7300 vs Pentium 3556U benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A10-7300 is faster than the Pentium 3556U. Despite this, the Pentium 3556U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the A10-7300 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium 3556U has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium 3556U. With our hardware info, we find that the A10-7300 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Pentium 3556U. The Pentium 3556U outputs less heat than A10-7300 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A10-7300 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
