A10-7300 vs Pentium 2127U benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Pentium 2127U performs better than the A10-7300. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7300 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the A10-7300 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Pentium 2127U that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium 2127U. According to our data, the A10-7300 and Pentium 2127U have the same clock speed. The Pentium 2127U outputs less heat than A10-7300 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-7300 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
