A10-7300 vs A8-6410 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A10-7300 performs better than the A8-6410. Despite this, the A8-6410 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A8-6410 has a slightly higher clock speed than the A10-7300. The A8-6410 outputs less heat than A10-7300 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A10-7300 has significantly more L2 cache than the A8-6410
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-7300 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
