A10-7300 vs A6-5200 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-5200 is faster than the A10-7300. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7300 in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A6-5200 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A10-7300. A A10-7300 CPU outputs less heat than a A6-5200 CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A10-7300 has significantly more L2 cache than the A6-5200
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-7300 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
