A10-6800K vs N95 comparison

In our benchmarks, the A10-6800K beats the N95 in overall performance. Despite this, the N95 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the N95 has significantly more cores than the A10-6800K. Indeed, the N95 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the A10-6800K. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A10-6800K has a significantly higher clock speed than the N95. The info from our database shows that the A10-6800K has more L2 cache than the N95

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the A10-6800K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
