A10-6800K vs Athlon X4 860K comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A10-6800K is faster than the Athlon X4 860K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Athlon X4 860K in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A10-6800K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Athlon X4 860K. The Athlon X4 860K outputs less heat than A10-6800K thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the A10-6800K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
