A10-6700 vs Core i3-1115G4E comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i3-1115G4E is faster than the A10-6700. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-6700 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the A10-6700 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Core i3-1115G4E that has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the A10-6700 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-1115G4E. Also, the A10-6700 has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i3-1115G4E outputs less heat than A10-6700 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A10-6700 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i3-1115G4E
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-6700 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
