A10-6700 vs Celeron G5905 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron G5905 is faster than the A10-6700. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-6700 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the A10-6700 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Celeron G5905 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron G5905. With our hardware info, we find that the A10-6700 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Celeron G5905. The Celeron G5905 outputs less heat than A10-6700 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-6700 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
