A10-6700 vs Athlon X4 760K specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the A10-6700 beats the Athlon X4 760K in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Athlon X4 760K in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the A10-6700 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Athlon X4 760K has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Athlon X4 760K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A10-6700. In terms of cache, the Athlon X4 760K has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the A10-6700

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A10-6700 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
