A10-6700 vs A10-7850K comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A10-6700 performs better than the A10-7850K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7850K in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the A10-6700 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A10-7850K has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. In terms of clock speed, the A10-6700 and A10-7850K are identical in this regard. A A10-6700 CPU outputs less heat than a A10-7850K CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-6700 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
