A10-5750M vs Core i3-4030U specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i3-4030U is faster than the A10-5750M. Despite this, the A10-5750M has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the A10-5750M has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Core i3-4030U that has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A10-5750M has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-4030U. The Core i3-4030U outputs less heat than A10-5750M thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-5750M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
