A10-5750M vs Celeron G1610 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the A10-5750M beats the Celeron G1610 in overall performance. Despite this, the Celeron G1610 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the A10-5750M has significantly more cores than the Celeron G1610. Indeed, the A10-5750M has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Celeron G1610. It also has more threads than the Celeron G1610. With our hardware info, we find that the Celeron G1610 has a slightly higher clock speed than the A10-5750M. A A10-5750M CPU outputs less heat than a Celeron G1610 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A10-5750M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
