A8-7670K vs Pentium G4600T comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A8-7670K performs better than the Pentium G4600T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium G4600T in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the A8-7670K has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G4600T has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A8-7670K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium G4600T. The Pentium G4600T outputs less heat than A8-7670K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A8-7670K has significantly more L2 cache than the Pentium G4600T

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A8-7670K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
